Dr. Paul Koch has provided emotional and spiritual care for men for 25 years – a neglected group in all circles of well-being. An ordained minister serving in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the United Church of Christ, and interfaith networks, Pastor Paul received his BA from Drury University (1986), masters from Eden Seminary (1993) and his doctorate from Eden in 2007.
Dr. Koch authored When the Gym Is a Man’s Church (Scholars Press, 2013) and numerous men’s group discussion guides (Chalice Press/Chalice Pages). Based in Washington Missouri, a bedroom community outside of St. Louis, he leads a weekly men’s group, Wild Wise Men, several annual men’s weekends, youth events, and will lead your retreat, conference, help you motivate and mobilize men in your circle or tribe.
Married for 28 years with three college-age children he has “been around the bend” and enjoys giving back blessings he has received. He enjoys the outdoors, recreation, the humanities, exercise, and wine making. For relaxation he likes reading, movies, and “hanging out with the people Jesus loved being with” (not necessarily those in organized religion).
